| TAFE 学校概要 |
|
| TAFE とは州立の高等職業訓練専門学校（Technical and Further Education )であり、大学と比較すると、全く違う特徴を持っています。
大学はいわば理論を学ぶ場であるのに対し、TAFE は実践的なことを身に付ける場。
実社会においてプロとして働いていくための実力を養うことが可能であり、
また多くの実社会で働いている方々が専門知識・実践力を強化するために働きながら TAFE にも通うことも多いところから、
その実用性は非常に高度であることが察することができます。
もちろんインターナショナル生も多く、英語コースも準備されており、質の高い実践力を身につけたい学生にはおすすめです。
また、 TAFE は提携大学を多く持ち、 TAFE の 1 〜 2 年コース（ Diploma) を取ると提携の大学の同コースの 2 年次以降に編入できることも多く、
TAFE で準備してから、大学へ編入するのはオーストラリア人のなかでもインターナショナル生にとっても非常にポピュラーで、
大学へのＳＴＥ ＰＵＰということ で、大学への ” Ｐａｔｈｗａｙ ” とも呼ばれます。州立であるだけに私立カレッジに比べ、
施設がはるかに優れており、またオーストラリア人の比率が非常に高いため、そのレベルは非常に高く設 定されています。
大学の進学も検討しているならば、どの TAFE がどの大学と提携を結んでいるかのCHECKをしておくことも非常に重要です。

このコースでは、職場でのコミュニケーション、職業安全衛生、質の高い進行とプラニング、エンジニアリング的計測、コンピューターテクノロジー、
産業ごとに必要とされる溶接、鋳型、製造（金属板）のスキルを学ぶことが出来ます。
卒業生の進路
溶接、鋳型、または金属板などのファブリケーター（製作者）として、組み立て、パイプライン、工業、製造業、土木業、そしてエネルギー生産業など様々な
分野での就職。
実習
288時間以上の実地訓練（オンザジョブトレーニング/OJT）を行う必要があります。
トレーニングは雇用主との交渉次第で、有給/無給は問いません。

2年間で修了できるAssociate Degree of Applied Engineering(Renewable Energy Technologies）では、デザイン、開発、インストール、委託、維持、修理や廃止、
持続可能なエネルギー技術へのソリューションなどに関する理論的/実用的なエンジニアリングスキルを学ぶことが出来ます。
このコースでは、政府と企業が環境への義務をそれぞれのプライオリティに反映させながら急速に進化するエネルギー市場について取り組んでいきます。
政府と企業が再生可能エネルギーを目標として設定し、温室効果ガスの排出の削減を
目指していくことに伴い、クリーンエネルギー産業は、今後10年大きく拡大していく分野です。
このコースでは、再生可能エネルギー領域に関連する多種にわたる技術をカバーするだけでなく、
